This website (alessandroingenito.com) is the personal author site of Alessandro Ingenito, home of Blackthorn Ridge and the Blackthorn Ridge series. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit, how it's used, and the choices you have. I keep data collection to a minimum — you don't need an account to read anything here.

Information you give me
When you join the waitlist or newsletter, you submit your name and email address through a sign-up form. That's it — I don't ask for anything else.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, basic technical data (such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited) may be logged by my hosting provider and any analytics tools for security and to understand how the site is used. See Cookies & analytics below.
How I use your information
- •To send you the news you signed up for: release dates, the cover reveal, early excerpts, and ARC opportunities.
- •To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- •To respond to you if you reach out directly.
I will never sell or rent your personal information, and I won't send you marketing you didn't ask for.
Newsletter & email (Kit)
My waitlist and newsletter are managed by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), an email marketing service. When you sign up, the name and email you provide are stored and processed by Kit on my behalf so I can send you updates. Kit may also set cookies and record standard delivery data (such as whether an email was opened) as part of providing the service.
Every email I send includes an unsubscribe link — one click and you're off the list. You can review Kit's own privacy practices on their website.
Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information held about you, and to opt out of marketing.

A note on age & content
This site promotes adult contemporary romance intended for readers 18 and older, and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

I may update this policy as the site evolves — for instance, when analytics are added. When I do, I'll revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
